The United States and its vassals have a long history of using the most unsavory forces when convenient at the time.

The people that later became the Taliban were feted at the White House and called "the moral equivalent of the Founding Fathers" while they were useful fighting the Soviet Union.

For decades, it was an open secret that Klaus Barbie, the Butcher of Lyons, was running counterintelligence in Bolivia, all with American assistance, protection and approval. For that matter, Reinhard Gehlen went from a Class A war criminal to the head of the BRD military intelligence.

Al Qaeda were transformed into "vetted moderate freedom fighters" and provided arms, training and cash, when we wanted them to topple the moderate secular Syrian government.

So what does anyone propose to do about it? Pointing out the evil nature of American deeds is like quoting Bible verses to an armed robber. Force is the only language that either understands.

"The fact that the member of the Russian-speaking minority had to sign discriminatory laws of the nationalists as president was a bad omen for his mission to end the violence of the nationalists against the Russian-speaking population in the Donbass, which was a much more difficult undertaking. The lack of a power base relentlessly revealed Zelensky’s impotence and his true character as a mere figurehead of a Russophobic nationalist regime in the tradition of its national hero Stepan Bandera". https://felixabt.substack.com/p/how-zelenskyj-was-prevented-from-3aa
